3. Make a Chart Using your notes, make a three-column chart of exchanges between the two cultures. Make one column for each culture. The first column is for the “category” of exchange (e.g., technology, food, ideas, etc.) and the second and third are for the two cultures.

4. Create Graphics Find or draw pictures to show some examples of the cultural exchanges included in your chart. You may also want to make a map that shows how ideas and technology moved from one culture to the other.

5. Create a Diary Entry Suppose you are an explorer from one culture who has traveled into the country of the other culture. Write a diary entry of your observations during your visit. Include descriptions of new ideas, products, and technologies that you think would benefit your own culture. What items would you like to share from your culture with the people of the other culture?

6. Put It All Together Assemble your description, chart, pictures, and diary entry by pasting each item on a piece of 8 1/2” X 11” paper. Create a table of contents and a cover, then staple the pages together to make your magazine.
