Theme Project: Learn about the ways your community has changed. Plan a walk that leads people to different buildings or places in your community. Tell them about the ways each building or place has changed.
1. Choose a Route Look at a map of your community. What part of it interests you the most? Choose a route through that area. Trace the route on a map. Circle at least five places along your route that you want to tell others about.

4. Pull It All Together Make an information card for each place on your tour. Include the information you wrote down above and any other information you have learned. Be sure the information is clear and easy for you to read as you give your tour. Create one card that lists important and fun information about your community in general. Then, using your map as a guide, put your cards in the order in which each place will appear on the tour.

You might also want to make a map of your tour route, showing the locations of each place you want to tell about.
