- Abraham Lincoln Online
- Teachers will find this site to be an excellent source of information on America's sixteenth President. The site offers links to historic sites, speeches and writings, pictures, a quiz, Lincoln Birthday events, and much more. Want to know what Lincoln was doing during a specific week? Click on the “Lincoln This Week” feature to find out. This site is maintained by Rhoda Sneller, a member of the Abraham Lincoln Association and the Lincoln Group of Illinois.

- Historic Mount Vernon
- This site is the homepage for the Mount Vernon museum. Students will enjoy the virtual tour of the estate and gardens. Other items of interest on this site include links to Washington's speeches, reading lists, and other related resources. Teachers may be interested in the online lesson, which contains reading materials for students, including a biography, and suggested classroom activities.
