The Appalachian Center
The Appalachian Center at the University of Kentucky offers many resources for learning about the region. You can find information on the history of Appalachia, keep up to date with important issues in the area (such as water resources and jobs), and view statistics on Appalachian counties in Kentucky. This site also has a gallery of photos that tell about life in Appalachia, a discussion forum, and li ommunity organizations.
