Islam: A Concept Map

A concept map is a graphic organizer that can help you to order a complex topic such as Islam. Look at the parts of the map that are completed. Then research Islam to help you fill in the missing answers. Here are two sources that might help you find the answers:

Encyclopedias: Look up "Islam."

Use the Internet: Use a search engine.

1. As you research Islam, look for any similarities with Judaism, and Christianity. Muhammad claimed that Islam had the same basic message as these religions. Do you agree with Muhammad? What other similarities did you uncover in your research?

2. Write a paragraph describing the religion of Islam. Use information from the concept map to help you.
