    A. During the Beringian epoch, the first Americans hunted large animals like woolly mammoths.

    B. When the climate got warmer during the Paleo-Indian epoch, large animals died out, and people hunted smaller animals with better weapons.

    C. During the Archaic epoch, Americans Indians fished in boats, gathered wild nuts and berries, and planted crops.

    D. Many different kinds of cultures developed during the Postarchaic epoch.
