With your partner, read Article 1, Declaration of Rights in California's State Constitution carefully and look for words and phrases that are also used in the U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights. (You might want to have a copy of the Bill of Rights also in front of you.) As you read, fill in the worksheet below.
