I. Rancho Life

A. The rancheros depend upon their Indian servants and laborers for the ranchos to run smoothly.

B. Children are taught by tutors instead of in schools and are good riders before they are 10 years old.

II. Pueblo Life

B. The pueblos were the centers of government and also fiestas.
