The Big Idea
Framework Concept: Goods/Services Many jobs are performed at night.

Write the following sentence starter on the board or chart paper.

At night, workers _________________________.

Then have students suggest different ways to finish the sentence. Discuss any people students know who work at night and what their jobs are.

Check for Understanding

Have students write or draw about a night worker they would like to be.
Have pairs of students role-play night workers. Have the class guess who the workers are.
