One day before the Invention Convention, have students bring in their inventions. Make sure at this time that all paperwork is complete. By doing so, the students will have an extra day to bring in missing parts and repair things that were broken in transit.
Primary student inventions should be displayed in a separate area and judged separately. Try to avoid judging during the time scheduled for public viewing. Advanced judging permits the public to see those projects that were given special awards and avoids unnecessary confusion.
Students should be required to remain with their project during the time scheduled for public viewing. Exceptions should be made for primary students.
