How to Create a Display Area
The best way to display your organism model, and to attract attention to it, is to create a display area that frames your model. One way to accomplish this is to build a three-panel display out of poster board.

Materials
- 2 pieces of poster board (at least 61cm x 91cm)
- heavy cellophane tape
- white paper
- ruler
- markers
- pen
- glue
- scissors
Procedure
- Measure one piece of poster board along its long edges to find the center, and cut it in half.
- As shown below, attach one-half of the first piece of poster board to each end of the whole piece of poster board. Make sure you tape the joints securely.
- On the white paper, prepare all titles, information about your organism, and illustrations. Then position the papers on the poster board exactly where you want them. (Caution: Use the white paper. Don't write or draw directly on the poster board. If you make a mistake, you only have to start over on the paper; you don't have to replace the poster board.)
- Attach the titles, information, and art to the display. One suggestion for their placement is indicated below.
