2 Student gives adequate descriptions of the Sun's energy with few examples. Illustrations are average.
1 Student's description is not adequate or is missing examples.
Describe the effects produced by the Sun's energy interacting with Earth's surface and atmosphere
3 Student describes in detail one or more examples, such as global winds, ocean currents, or weather. Uses good illustrations.
