Now that you've designed your space station and identified its crew, think about how you can simulate the station in class and present it to others. Here are some questions to consider.
- What parts of the station would be interesting to simulate? How can you make parts of your classroom look and feel like those space-station modules?
- Out of the jobs you've identified, which ones will you include in your simulation? What role should each student play? Where should each student be stationed?
- What exciting things might happen at your station? What conditions in space might cause problems? What new discoveries might be made? Choose one or more events to include in your simulation.
- How would each of the people at your station deal with the events in your simulation? Develop a script so that each student knows what to do when the simulation is presented.
- What will each student's assignment be when visitors come to see your space-station simulator? Plan how you will describe your job on the station, the module you're in, and what life is like in space.
