To make a quiz board with six questions, you'll need two pieces of thin cardboard 20 cm x 28 cm (9 in. x 11 in.), about 2 m (78 in.) of insulated wire, 12 metal paper clips, tape, scissors, a light bulb in a holder, and a size-D dry cell in a holder.

  • To make a quiz board with six questions, youll need two pieces of thin cardboard 20 cm x 28 cm (8 in. x 11 in.), about 2 m (78 in.) of insulated wire, 12 metal paper clips, tape, scissors, a light bulb in a holder, and a size-D dry cell in a holder.
  • Choose a topic for your quiz. Write six questions and their answers on strips of paper. Tape the questions on one side of a piece of cardboard. Scramble the answers to the questions so that they are in a different order from the questions. Then tape the answers beside the questions, as shown below. Number the questions 16. Label the answers AF.
  • Attach a paper clip to the cardboard next to each question and each answer, as shown below.
  • Cut nine pieces of wire about 20 cm (8 in.) long. Carefully scrape away about 1.5 cm (1/2 in.) of insulation from the ends of each piece of wire. Use six of the pieces of wire to connect the paper clips for each question to its answer, as shown in the example below.
