Invention Dimension
Invention Dimension highlights a different American inventor every week, with a biographical
sketch covering his or her accomplishments and their impact on society. Subjects will range from
historical figures such as Benjamin Franklin, the inventor of the lightning rod and Franklin stove, to
living legends such as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the brains behind the original Apple computer.
This site maintains an archive of inventor biographies and a good hotlist of invention-related
Internet resources. Invention Dimension is maintained by Lemelson National Program in Invention,
Innovation, and Creativity at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
