Earthquake Information
This amazing near-real-time earthquake bulletin shows the precise time, location, and magnitude of the most recent twenty earthquakes in the world. A clickable map allows users see location of an earthquake's epicenter displayed on a world map at varying resolutions. An excellent resource for current information. Earthquake Information is provided by the National Earthquake Information Service (NEIS) of the U. S. Geological Survey as part of a cooperative project of the Council of the National Seismic System. The site is made available on the WWW by Neal M. Holtz and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University, Ottawa.
