Homograph Chain (visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic) Ask students to use source books to find ten homograph pairs. Have them write each pair on a 3" X 5" card, with pronunciations and definitions. Using staples or tape, students can connect their cards in a chain and then connect their chain to other chains to form a class Homograph Chain for display. You may use the chain to prompt students to pronounce and then create sentences with homograph pairs. |
