Multiple-Meaning Collages
(visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic)

Have students use a class dictionary to find the multiple meanings of the noun panel. Invite them to draw or cut out pictures from magazines that illustrate different meanings of panel and to organize the pictures into collages. Students can write sentences that show the different meanings illustrated in their collages, or they can trade collages with partners and write sentences about each other's illustrations.
