An -ing and -ed Menu 
(visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic)

Have students work in even-numbered groups to prepare a set of word cards for the spelling words. Then ask each group to split into two teams, divide the word cards between the teams, and see which team can use the most words to create imaginative menu items and descriptions. Finally, have each pair of teams combine their best items to design a menu for their own restaurant. Suggest they give their restaurant a name, include prices, and illustrate their menus. Provide room on a table for display.
