Word Chart for mit

Suggest that students build words with the word root mit, meaning "to send," and the prefixes ad-, com-, per-, sub-, trans-, e-, and re-. They can make a chart like the one on page 100, using a class dictionary to look up one meaning for each word. Invite students to write questions that will elicit answers using the words and give the questions to classmates to answer.
