Building Rebus Puzzles 
(visual/kinesthetic)

Have students work in small groups to create five rebus puzzles. Explain that they will break a word into parts they can represent with a combination of pictures, symbols, and letters. Word endings will always be represented by . Have students exchange puzzles with other groups, who will try to figure out what words the puzzles represent.
