Spelling Tick-Tack-Toe  (visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic) Ask students to form groups of three—two players and a caller. Give each player a different-colored pencil. Tell students to draw a tick-tack-toe grid on a piece of paper. To begin the game, the caller reads a list word. Player 1 writes the word in any square. The caller then reads another word, and Player 2 writes it in any remaining square. A misspelled word is erased. The first player to write three correctly spelled words across, down, or diagonally wins. |
