What's the Question?  (visual/auditory/kinesthetic) Tell pairs of students to make a word card for each list word and stack the cards facedown. Explain these game rules: Player 1 draws a card and gives a clue for the word on it. The clue must be a statement, such as "It goes up in space." Player 2 tries to earn a point by asking a question that includes the spelling word and spelling the word correctly (e.g., "What is a rocket? r-o-c-k-e-t"). Players take turns, and the one who ends the game with more points wins. |
