Food Colors (visual/kinesthetic) Note that tangerine, olive, and lemon are Thesaurus color words named for foods. Ask students to make a mini-thesaurus of words like these. Have students transfer the entries for green, orange, purple, red, and yellow to separate pages. Ask them to use appropriately colored pencils or crayons if available. Then tell them to add subentries for other food-related color words. |
