Word-Builder Bugs (visual/kinesthetic) Write the following on the board: re + take, under + take; dis + order, re + order; un + able, dis + able. Tell students to join the word parts and to write the new words. Then have students make a three-segment, six-legged bug, label each segment with a base word, and rewrite the new words on the appropriate legs. |
