VCV Caterpillars  (visual/kinesthetic) Have students work in small groups to make VCV caterpillars of three or four words each. Tell students to cut out two circles for each two-syllable spelling word, using a different color of paper for each word. Then, for each spelling word, have them write each syllable on the two circles whose colors match. Next, ask students to paste the circles in order on a large piece of paper and add a head and legs on each caterpillar. |
