Word Flurries (visual/kinesthetic) Have students cut out a white cloud and five snowflakes and paste them onto a colored paper. Then have students look up pretty in their Thesaurus, write pretty in the cloud, and write a different exact word for pretty in each snowflake. Finally, ask students to add a caption for the snow scene, using one of the exact words. |
