Picture Webs (visual/kinesthetic) Write anklet, coverlet, eaglet, and hamlet on the board. Ask students to look up each word's meaning in a class dictionary. Then have students make a picture web, centering the suffix -let in the web and adding drawings in surrounding bubbles of the -let words from the board. Let students trade webs so partners can label the rays with the appropriate words. |
