From Verbs to Nouns (visual/kinesthetic) Write these verbs on the board: hike, mix, invent, surf, visit, mow, farm, and shave. Ask students to add -er or -or to each verb to make it a noun, and write the new nouns. Let students use a class dictionary. Then tell students to choose a noun, write a sentence containing it, and draw a picture to illustrate the sentence. |
