Exploring the Thesaurus (visual/kinesthetic) Have students look up each of these thesaurus main entries: dark, award, and noise. Then tell students to choose a main entry word and to illustrate the meanings of two of its subentries, drawing their pictures side by side on a sheet of paper. Have students label each picture with the appropriate word. |
