Spelling Word Charades 
(visual/oral/auditory)
Ask students to play charades in groups of four or five.
Have students take turns choosing a spelling word to act out for their group.
Let guessers refer to their spelling lists. To score a point, a guesser must call out the correct word and spell it aloud.
Each student keeps a tally of the words he or she guesses correctly.
After a stated time period, review the tallies. Ask the student with the highest tally for a new word to act out.
It need not be a spelling word but must follow one of the patterns in this lesson.
