Guess That Word  (visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic) Have students work in small groups and have each group make a set of 14 cards with a Basic or Review Word on each card. Tell students to place the cards face down. Player 1 picks a card. The other players take turns asking questions about the word that can be answered with yes or no, such as "Is it a day of the week?" Players who guess the word then try to spell it. If that player doesn't spell the word correctly, the next player takes a turn at spelling the word. The first player to spell the word correctly draws the next card. |
