|âr| Pairs  (visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic) You will need two players and 22 word cards (two for every Basic Word except where). Each player takes five cards. Player 1 spells the |âr| sounds shown on one of his or her cards and asks for the matching card. For example, Player 1 might say, "Do you have the a-i-r word hair?" If a match is made, Player 1 lays down both cards. If not, Player 1 draws a card from the pile, and Player 2 takes a turn. The first player to "go out" wins. |
