Animal Dictionary (visual/kinesthetic) Write these words and the languages they come from on the board: raccoon (Native American); cheetah (Hindu); python (Greek); and koi (Japanese). Have students list the words in alphabetical order, add each language source in parentheses, and write a short dictionary description of each animal. Then tell students to illustrate each entry. |
