Rainbow Race  (visual/oral/auditory/kinesthetic) Have students form groups of two to six players and one reader. Tell them to make a game board like the one shown, using a rainbow of six colors and dividing each colored stripe into eight spaces. Players will need game markers; the reader will need a spelling list. Explain these rules: Each player chooses a color. The reader reads a word to Player 1, who must spell the word correctly to move one space. Players take turns until one crosses the rainbow. |
