Catch Rhyming Words (visual/kinesthetic) Have students draw a large, five-fingered baseball mitt. Then ask them to choose a spelling word other than throw and write that word on the palm of the mitt. Next, tell students to think of five words that rhyme with the chosen spelling word and write one new word on each finger of the glove. |
