Word-Ending Bait
(visual/kinesthetic)
Ask students to draw a large fish hook in the center of a poster and write one of these endings on the hook: -ot, -ub, -um, or -op.
Then have students think of consonants or consonant clusters they could add before the ending to make new words.
Students should write each new word on a colored fish shape and paste the fish near the hook.
