sh Puzzle Strips (visual/kinesthetic) Ask children to brainstorm a list of sh words. They might use a dictionary to find words that begin with sh and think of rhyming words to identify those that end with sh. Provide strips of drawing paper. On one end of each strip, children use an sh word in a sentence about ranches or ranching. On the other end, they draw a picture to go with their sentence. Children then cut each strip into two puzzle pieces and have a friend match the sentences and pictures.
