Our Long e Tree
(visual/kinesthetic)
Ask partners or small groups to work together to make a long e tree. Have children draw or paste a tree trunk with branches on large paper. Then have them cut out yellow, orange, and red leaves.
On the yellow leaves, children print words that have the e spelling for long e. On the orange leaves, they print words with the ea spelling, and on the red leaves, words with the ee spelling. Have children paste the leaves on the branches of their tree and write "Our Long e Tree" on the trunk
