Kidz Corner
This colorful Web site offers farm-related photos, stories, and even a "virtual" county fair. Its many links lead to games, fun facts, and tips on food safety. Sponsored by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, it has broad appeal to children across the country.

Perry Elementary School Kindergarten Farm
This is a site children can navigate on their own. Designed for a kindergarten class, it incorporates reading passages that allow children to practice reading and to learn about farming at the same time. Photos of a class on field trips to farms offer simple descriptions in large type. Other fun features include a farm animal coloring page.

Barnyard Friends—A Visit to a Farm
On this site children can go on a field trip to a farm in an imaginary school bus. Each stop features a different farm animal or farm building. Using a worksheet they can print out, children finish the trip by drawing a picture of their favorite farm animal and writing a sentence about it.
