Cat and Mouse Together

Children will create stories about animal friends, using stick puppets.

What You Need

• Construction paper
• Wooden dowels
• Glue or tape
• Crayons, colored pencils, or markers

What To Do

1. Make cat and mouse stick puppets out of construction paper and the dowels.
2. Work with children to write a series of short adventures for Cat and Mouse, who are the closest of friends and always together.
3. Have pairs of children take turns acting out one of the adventures for the rest of the class.
