Animal Bytes
At this SeaWorld/Busch Gardens site, kids can get a wealth of “fast facts” about many kinds of animals, including amphibians, birds, fish, insects, invertebrates, mammals, and reptiles. Among the facts provided are descriptions of the animals and information about their life spans, habitats, and diets. Fun facts are sometimes available, too.

Animals of the World
Would your students enjoy playing a guessing game to identify animals? If so, direct them to this site. Here kids use a series of clues, including facts about habitats, to name featured animals and score points. As clues are selected, pieces of photos of the animals are revealed. Animals include mammals, reptiles and amphibians, insects and arachnids, birds, and fish.
