Animal Mobile Homes

In this activity, children will create mobiles with facts about animal homes.

What You Need

• Construction paper
• Crayons, colored pencils, or magic markers
• Yarn or string
• Scissors
• Hole punch, stapler, or tape
• Hangers

What To Do

1. Ask each child to pick an animal to research. Tell children to find one or two facts about the type of home that animal lives in.
2. Have children draw a picture of their animal in its home on a simple house shape or on a circle cut from construction paper.
3. Underneath the pictures, children can write their facts about their animal homes.
4. Create mobiles by tying three or four pictures to each hanger.
5. Hang the mobiles where children can read them.
