Intervention Institute, Level II

Target Audience:

Experienced Soar to Success coaches, coordinators, and teachers who have successfully completed the Intervention Institute, Level I

Length of Training:

3 days

Prerequisites:

Successful completion of the Intervention Institute, Level I, submission of an application, and one semester of verified experience using Soar to Success, along with a videotape submission that shows the applicant teaching a complete Soar to Success book

Materials:

Trainer's notebook, presentation visuals, and one set of Soar to Success teacher materials, levels K–8

Description

Participants who have worked as a Soar to Success teacher, coach, or site coordinator for one semester are eligible to attend a Level II institute. The Intervention Institute, Level II, prepares Level I graduates to become district trainers, so they can maximize capacity by training other teachers to use Soar to Success.

Objectives

Participants will be able to conduct an Intervention Institute in their district.
