This one-day institute is designed to support Houghton Mifflin Math users who are also using Math Expressions. Participants will learn about key concepts of Math Expressions, including ongoing assessments.

Objectives

As a result of attending this institute, participants will:

• use Math Expressions with Houghton Mifflin Math in a blended approach
• encourage appropriate use of Math Talk
• understand the impact of meaningful math drawings
• incorporate the use of student work boards
