Animal Adaptations

In science class, you have been learning about plant and animal adaptations. Adaptations help plants and animals live. With the help of a family member, you will observe adaptations of the plants and animals near where you live.

Procedure

With an adult, go for a walk in your neighborhood or in a nearby park. Look for plants and animals on your walk. In the chart below, draw a sketch of the plant or animal and its name, if you know it. Then think about the adaptations the plant or animal has and list those in the second column.
