Many things in your home have thermal energy. Heaters, lamps, and stove burners are just a few examples. With the help of a family member, search for sources of thermal energy in your home.

With an adult, walk around your home. List at least five sources of thermal energy. Write them in the chart below. Then talk about how the thermal energy is used. One example is done for you.
