It's All Relative

Animals go through stages as they grow. Many look like their parents even when they are very young. Some baby animals, however, look very different from their parents. Ask a family member to help you compare and contrast some relatives who are different ages.

  1. Look through family photo albums with a family member. Find a picture of yourself and an adult family member. Or find a picture of two other family members showing a child and an adult.
  2. Glue the photos to the sheet of paper.
  3. Look at some features of the people in the pictures. Decide whether they are alike or different. Record your observations.
