A Timeline of ME!

In science class, you have been learning that some baby animals look like their parents and that some do not. When people are born, they look like their parents in many ways. You can learn more about this by doing this activity.

Materials

A boy at a table drawing a timeline.

Procedure

Have an adult help you organize the pictures in chronological order (from birth to present). Glue them on the paper in the correct order. While doing this, talk about how the pictures are similar and different. Label each picture with a date or an age. Talk about how you changed over time.

Results

When you were very young, did you look like any of the adults in your family? How have you changed over time? Do you look more like your other family members now or when you were a baby?
