This is a worksheet you can print and distribute to students to help them track their
work on the Chapter Investigation.
Following are links to Internet resources for students to use while working on the
Science Center Travel Guide
The Association of Science and Technology Centers maintains this index of science centers throughout the United States. (The Web site includes information on science centers throughout the world!) Each listed science center has a page of information, including a link to the center's Web page where available. You could plan a trip to any of these science museums. With these listings you can find out where they are.
GeoSystems Global Corporation maintains this powerful tool for planning a trip. It's also complicated, so you may want to work in a group when using it. Select City-to-City so you don't need to fill in complete addresses. Make sure you know where you want to go, because the map graphics may take some time to download, or select the text-only option. You can choose to avoid downloading map graphics and get your search results sooner.
